Where is jetfest? do they make a rideplate for the f12x?

Jetfest is our annual PWC group ride in Myrtle Beach, SC. Jetfest 2012 will be July 13 - 15 if anyone wants to join us. Friday ride will be from North Mytle Beach to Georgetown, SC on the Intracoaster Waterway.

I only do new as Corrosion from a used plate can be difficult to weld and could prematurely crack.

Got a chance to try it on some near glass water this morning and set my new personal best top speed. of 78.7 mph. That's with a 1/2 tank of fuel and 225 lb rider so there's still a little left to be had on top. rpm's were 7280. I would say it is trimmed just about right. Cruising less than full throttle between 60 - 70, it has the slight tendancy for the nose to rise and fall on smooth water. As soon as you go full throttle over 70 it lays down flat and smooth, just skimming on top of the water. My modified ride plates are good for about 2 mph extra top end and Mac's ride plate with wedge plate is about 3 mph faster than mine so I would agree it should be good for at least 5 mph over stock. But the best part is how stable it is and handling is also excellent.

So are you saying macsboost's ride plate mod is faster than yours somehow? I have a H20 modded plate and the thing bucks like a angry bull. the porpoising is annoying.

Are the ride plates still available? Any photos of what the plate looks like? Sorry the images posted before are not showing. I have the 5 degree pump wedge right now. Curious what the pros/cons of a 5' pump wedge vs a moddified rideplate.
