I'm on Belleville lake, not the quietest or best for parking up and likely a hard sell to those used to clear water

Plenty of lakes to choose from, but need a good spot. Somewhere to put in, not too busy, area to beach? Anyway, following.

we got plenty but like you said need a good one, i'm gonna take my son to sterling state park in newport this weekend, ramp area is big i'll scope it out and let you know. where you located, i'm good with an hour drive to anywhere.
