Anybody still riding at all in NJ? I live in Brick and have been out a few times in Manasquan River. This past Sunday was awesome...60 degrees out and total glass

Damn, I haven't been out since November and I'm itching to hit the water. Last ride of the year was over on the Metedeconk just after the storm

HA HA, no thank you, I usually don't get started until April. Have fun today, you should have a lot of gawkers watching you from the walk-bridge!

Water levels are probably up with the recent rains, you go through the wing dam up to the Byram launch?

Just finishing up a bilge install and want to test it out, possibly this Sunday in the Manasquan River. Air temps supposed to be in the mid 40's. I got a 6-5-4 full suit with hood, 7mm boots and gloves. Anybody else interested?

So I actually did get out Sunday...was a little colder then forecasted...Air temps around 37. Besides that, could not have asked for better conditions....virtually no wind, so the river was glass...no one else out obviously. Unfortunately, my ride was cut short due to the negative battery cable breaking off. Thank God I had my tools on board...was able to rig it up well enough to get back to the launch. Hoping for some warm weather to get out again soon!

How is the 'Squan now? I know it had a ton of stuff in it prior to Sandy, and it was so incredibly shallow at low tide.

Also, you'll probably want to check out EastCoastPWC.net if you haven't, there's a ton of riders in the Brick area that ride both the Manasquan and Barnegat Bay.

Cool thanks...yeah it was pretty low to the east of treasure island...bout 2-3 feet and tide was almost completely out. That's why I was able to walk my ski to the shore! I kinda stayed in the channel because the water was real muddy..didn't want to go in shallow water and suck something up. The bay is really bad I heard....houses and cars in there and a ton of sand. I got by the dog beach in Squan and that looked pretty normal.

Drop your ski in over at Forge Pond off of Rt 70 on the South Bound side about 1/4 mile down from Rt 88 in Brick, you can cruise out to the Metedeconk and there's loads of guys riding. I was there all weekend with one of my Seadoos. It's a good spot because you can beach it at a couple of different places, even down to F-cove

Where would I be able to leave my car and trailor? I know in Toms river people and cops and whoever else don't really like when you leave the trailor on the side of the road or on the car parked some where

There's a small lot right there at the ramp, I've left my car there for 3+ hours before and never really had an issue. I know they don't like you do that at a lot of ramps, but I don't recall seeing any signs saying not to? I'll check next time I'm there
