Great information! Will save. However I do have concerns before spending the weekend at the Daytona Beach Motosurf in Jan. Any tips to prevent a catastrophe?

Do you bring a trailer? Load it in your truck and lock it? Etc..

Soon as I find the vendor tomorrow I will post it up.
Check this out: (seems I can't post URLs since I don't have enough posts yet, but it's at maxsontechonline dot com, product code GPT1 (in their security section).

It's a GPS tracking device for $200 that use pre-paid SIM cards and text location results to you upon request... so no monthly fees! I might have to get one of these!

For those of you that prefer Passive Tracking Instead. That means you only turn on the tracking when needed and pay a one time tracking fee.

Am I the only person who has wheel locks, hitch locks and a lock connecting the ski to the trailer? It would be very difficult to take the ski out of my locked back-yard. I feel comfortable parking my ski over night when all locks are applied....Total insurance cost ~$70 for all locks.

You will also need to get past my two very unfriendly pits without being heard and then figure out how to get the ski attached and out my narrow drive area without any of my neighborhood watch neighbors clubbing you over the head. All of us in my area are very aware of who should be where and when....such as "guests" acting strange, etc.

Having a plan and protecting your property from the point of use (equipment) is much better security than paying for services. Most of us have insurance if it somehow does get stolen....so no worries for me.
