This would be alot cheaper about $149.00 for the unit and $15.00 per month and.... They have already recovered Motorcylces stolen at the Baja 1000!!!

You have to cut and paste, I'm new and can't post links yet !
Spot will not work for stolen property recovery. Well it might but it certainly isn't practical. First off SPOT has to be powered on at the time of tracking and is powered by lithium batteries which will probably run out after several hours. Second, SPOT is so large that any blind man could find it. Third, the unit alone is $149 and the basic service is $99 annually, the basic service will not allow you to locate the stolen item. The extended servise for an additional $49 annually will allow you to locate but again that is only if the unit is turned on and not located by the thief. So good luck with that.

If your toy are ever stolen. You can recover it in as little time as it takes to make a phone call and file a stolen report.

Soon as I find the vendor tomorrow I will post it up.
Sounds like Lojack. There are plenty of ways to track your stolen property. Just leave your cell phone in it at all times

Zoombak sells a device for under $250. Then you have to pay about $12 to $14 a month. But it will page your cell phone if the unit moves out of an area, and you can then track it on a computer. I have one on my dog.

If they would make these tracking devices really cheap it would be great...That way anybody could afford one.

USUALLY, if the Police agency to whom you reported a theft, records it.
    the "city police".
hence, another "agency, ie: Sheriff" catches a thief, little do they know of
your report. Shareing information DOES NOT HAPPEN! Good luck ever
getting property back, tru police doing their " JOB ". Pawn shop location
is an example. In a city, Investigated by Sheriff, NO KNOWLEGDE.
