    Hydro Trailer???

Ok I was on ebay and saw a set of ski's being sold and they also had this little Hydro Trailer. Damn thing looked real cool. Since I travel up the river about 10 miles to get to a hang out beach for tubing and ski'ing I would love to have something like this to stow gear. Anyone ever use one of these?

Also anyone have a clue on cost or other companies that make em or some home grown idea.

I spoke to the creator of hydrotrailer a few years ago and he rides in the ocean with one. Says it's no problem in 5-6 foot waves.

Of course he was trying to make the sale too right...
I believe in my heart that if everyone rode beautiful woman and ugly skis the world would be a much happier place.

    Re: Hydro Trailer???

The retail price is more like 750. It looks like a nice idea but I'm not too jazzed at the price. And I'm not so sure about the company either. Twice I've asked them to send me some detailed info about how the hitch assembly mounts to the hull of the towing PWC and twice they've said no problem but not sent anything. I'm not about to spend that kind of money without knowing what the installation is gonna do to my hull.

I've thought about finding a couple of old junk hulls and doing some major modifications to make my own for lots less money. But right now I got no place to do that kind of work so the project is just in my head at the moment.

yeah thats my thinking I dont like the fact that they have no information really on their site. As long as I can cruise 35-40 on the river with it would work fine. I just need it till we get to our beach site and then it stays there while we play. I usually just strap everything down to our huge tube that we pull but its soo light that it will flip over on the tow rope going over say 15.
