      AIR INTAKE:
My intake set up is and will provide a quicker response to the pull of the throttle.
Better reaction times. More snap it the take off and better response in turns where the throttle is constantly adjusted to maintain momentum around the turn.
This set up is for gain on a quicker throttle response. It has nothing to do with air temp.

INTAKE PLENUM SPACER: adds 2 more HP.
My intake Heat-Barrier-Gasket, / Spacer will help keep the air intake plenum temp from rising up with the engine temperature. By installing this spacer and keeping the plenum temp down it gives the engine a better chance at getting cooler air to the cylinders.
Hot air is expanded and has less oxygen in it.
Cold air is condensed and has more oxygen in it.

" every 10deg. increase in air temp = 1 horse power loss " This measure is good for any type of engine.
The more you can maintain cooler air while it's on the way through the engine the better the engine will perform.
Heat on the intake side of the engine hampers performance.
Heat on the exhaust side of the engine is wasted power. ( turbo's make use if this )

I purchased one of these Big-Air Systems last winter from Rogue Jets and after an afternoon on the water this is what I found.

          Stock:
          Start-up: good-very good

          Throttle
          Response: very good

          Big Air:
          Strart-up: excellent

          Throttle
          Response: excellent

I run my craft at 4-7,000' altitude so air is important. An added bonus is that the system sounds GREAT! Not loud, but gives a nice performance pitch.

I purchased parts from 3 vendors last winter. Rogue Jets were the only vendor that returned e-mails promply and delivered orders when promissed. Their tech support for me as a newbee was awsome. Vendors like this deserve our support. Plus I'm getting free stuff for saying all this...........he he he, just kidding Ron.
YOU MUST BE FAST, cause you were haulin' *** when I passed you....
