    Hey Romack...

    got pictures of what you cleaned up on those 61x cases?

    after this thread, I could port some 62t cases in my sleep, with one hand, and a blindfold...

    but I still have NO idea where to clean up 61x cases.

    done with that 61x cylinder port job yet?

    no pics of the cases, all i did was clean up casting parting lines and any small defects. wont really do anything, but why not since the cases were split anyways.


    cylinders are done. they are at the shop to get bored as we speak. probably put the bottom end together this weekend, top end next weekend when i get the cylinders back. still going to do a little grinding on the intake mani to blend/match the upper and lower pieces and also some on the b-pipe.

    I can't believe that nobody has any info on 61x case porting let alone pictures. It seems to me that some of the pro builders should have a few pics of their work we could use as a reference. It wouldn't hurt their business as everyone is building 62t's now anyway.

    Why would a builder want to give away his porting specs, that just lowers business.
    I have Head Enterprises ported 61x cases, and theres alot out of them, but im not willing to post pictures, because he gets good money just for that reason.

    Oh well....... guess I'll just have to go it alone..... It's only a temporary motor to go to the Jersey Rager with. I'm gonna have Paul at Jr. Magoos build a motor next winter, but I need something til then.
    I'll be sure to post pics of my butchering of the 61x cases though

    I did some work on a set a while back, I thought i posted it here, but possibly at the other site, ive been searching and cant find it.

    Ill keep looking, there are some obvious things restricting the flow, but I think thereis moe to it than that unless you want all out topend power.

    IM guesing though.

    Ill continue looking for the post I made about it.
