    Js550 pump seals

Hey guys quick question which way do the pump seals go in the vane stator section of the pump? They are single lipped seals. I am thinking that the lips face each other but I could be wrong. Thanks in advance!

Normally, when trying to keep something OUT of the assembly the spring lip side faces OUT. In this case water out of sealed bearings so I would both spring side out. If there is grease or oil in the pump, I like to turn the inner seal IN and the outer seal OUT. I don't know what the factory says but this is just how I do it.

Okay, so do you mean the front seal(one closest to the exit nozzle) faces the impeller and the rear seal (closest to impeller) faces the impeller as well?? Pics would be greatly appreciated

With sealed pump bearings I'd do both springs out towards the impeller as your first pic.
