    1986 Kawasaki JS300

Currently have the opportunity to purchase a local 1986 JS300, super clean condition, one original owner, runs no issues. Has factory oil/fuel mixer removed. Runs regularly hooked to the hose to keep it running periodically rather than just sitting, but hasn't been on the water in a couple years. Personally I'm new to the 300's and not sure if it's even worth my while to get into or not. Fairly new to older standups altogether as I've only owned one 650 a couple years back now. Saw some people saying you're better off to just get right into a 550/650, but saw others say that the 300's are awesome with a Group K kit. Any feedback and thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    Re: 1986 Kawasaki JS300

The 300 was designed for young kids and teenagers.

But the Honda 3 wheeled atv fiasco had just occurred,
and many states had minimum age requirement that
forced Kawasaki to sell the 300 to mainly adults.

I think someone is overselling the Group K mods.

Horsepower == Speed, RPM != Speed
