HELP! How do I test RX DI fuel pump for power

My fuel pump is t priming when I attach the lanyard. I
do get the 2 short beeps to show its recognized. The FP fuse is good. How do I test the pump itself to make sure itís getting power?

There is a 4 pin electrical connector on the pump module. The outer 2 wires are fuel pump power. The inner 2 are fuel level sender.

ThanksÖchecked the plug and there was power. Swapped the pump out with the pump in my other ski and itís running. Seems like it is hitting the rev limiter prematurely though. No maintenance light on

What RPM's are you seeing? Maybe you have a loose pump shoe or worn wear ring and it actually IS on the rev limiter?

I have had good luck with this replacement fuel pump...https://www.ebay.com/itm/20352605789...YAAOSwWc1g8BA6

I wouldn't bank on that inline filter fitting though.....I've told them the ends are too large and they won't listen.

Seems like it hits limiter at around 6000-6500 on the hose in the driveway

That's about right. It's actually turning more than that but the stock tach responds slowly. The Di machine should always start quickly without ever touching the throttle. It should idle consistently at around 1400rpm. And during a WOT run you should see 6300rpm or more. If any of these 3 things are NOT RIGHT......DO NOT try and ride it.....something is wrong.

Does start right up when you hit the button with no throttle and idles at 1450rpm all day long steady. Gonna get it out on the water this week to run it. Thanks for your help.
