Rough guesses on sh1t it will need after just a quick evaluation before returning to our campfire :
    Crank
    Top end
Stock impeller is sh1t, so that has to go...
    UMI steering rebuild kit
    Starter
    Blowsion RN pole spring
    ODI Rogues
    Chinpad cover
    Turf
Probably more stuff...will update more later...

Riva red pipe may be going on it. ADA head is being donated also, so it may need the head bracket to make both work.

Jet Maniac has already offered to supply the pole spring and UMI rebuild kit.

New/better side rails would be nice.

Tubbies would be nice on this RN.
Others in our group are keeping the hull and hood for now, and they will be doing whatever paint and turf work gets done. I took the handlepole home with me, as I will do the minus 2 mod to it. I'm also going to be doing all the motor work and assembly, probably this fall.

Oh, and I know the guys plan to bilgekote the insides and epoxy up the foam injection holes...and 5200 around the bulkhead.

Got the fuel tank and water box cleaned up. Hoping to get the inside of the hull cleaned up and coated as well as all the tubes all sealed that go through the hull to help with preventing the foam getting waterlogged.

Started the minus 2 mod for the handlepole today, but then I had to go ride and enjoy the day a bit.

A few different processes for this mod.
I will explain the way I've been doing them.
1.25" of the fiberglass section of the pole is tucked into the bottom aluminum cast piece.
Therefore I measure 0.75" up from the cast piece and draw a line all the way around. Then make my cut.
Next I will drill out the rivets and remove that chunk of fiberglass from the cast piece.
More explanation as I continue on this....

Continued with the handlepole minus 2 mod this morning.

After the cut, about an inch of foam gets removed from the bottom of the pole...assuming you are using nuts/bolts as fasteners, versus rivets, which I am. I just use a retractable utility blade for this...not crazy beautiful, but it won't be seen later anyhow.

Next you need to remove the 2 inch "cut off" chunk from the bottom cast piece.
    Drill out the rivets.
Then a simple trick is to pinch the fiberglass chunk in a vise, which breaks the epoxy bond.
Be careful here. Don't break that cast aluminum piece.
    Pry with caution.
Then get all the epoxy residue out.

Clean/scuff the inside of the cast piece with 80 grit sandpaper.
