    Does anyone recognize this part

    This was in a box of stuff that came with a Wetbike that I bought. It doesnt look like it goes with the ski12D6C384-0298-4F88-B5D4-03155ED9D921.jpeg but I cant make out what it is. Does anyone recognize it?

    Well, it has a rotating flange and a shift arm.........some sort of gearbox.

    Could be some kind of PTO gearbox. Or perhaps a reverser or speed reduction for some kind of equipment.

    Is there a shaft we cannot see on the right side. If there is, what happens to the left side shaft when you turn the right side shaft? What happens when you move the shift lever.
    2, 1998 TS 770 L, restored and running great as of July 2019 (NO THANKS to the person at SBT, who put the WRONG crankshaft bearing into the rebuilt engine I got from them)

    Any which way, it has steel (uncoated) parts.......not for marine use.

    Are there any casting numbers anywhere on it? It sort of looks like it belongs to an old lawn tractor.
