    yes ur are correct, this has the d plate and chip as well as wave eaters allready installed, im going to replace oil lines with tygon as im doing my 1300r anyway with oikia clamps, i agree then can be a tickin time bomb without maintaining but can also last if tookin care of , i basically wondering if a head gasket is common and it so the chances of bending a rod or sumthin hydro locking? its to late now i put a deposit on it , expect the worst hope for the best lol! ill report back just for fun what i found internally and post a pic! wont be for another month or so til i can get down to get it

    another quick question, have u found the pv gumming up bad with fully syn oil? and are they easy to remove n clean? iv cleaned em on 700 triple sleds before and were very easy to do

    They require periodic maintaince regardless of what oil is used but yes defiantly less with synthetic oil, blown head gaskets are not a common thing on these engines , I have never seen one personally

    ya i hear ya, i just got trust gye is being truthful, wich is pretty uncommon these days but can still happen lol, just gonna take a chance n see how she goes! thanks for the advice
