That was with a set of freshly rebuilt carbs. Tossed a 2nd set on that have worked for me in the past and I was having the same issue when I put them on this ski. Could it be a gasket issue?

Are you using the same carb to intake gaskets? Does it rev to the moon out of the water?

They were new gaskets. But Iíve taken the carbs off a bunch of times since putting them on. And no it doesnít rev out likes itís getting to much air so doubt thatís issue now that you say that

Did you recently rebuild the carbs with Chinese kits?

Do they still have the stock springs?

Vertex gaskets. And the springs that came with the kits. I ordered good gaskets but whatís what they sent not sure if those are a good brand or not

    Re: Sxr 1100 jetting

When a carburetor doesn't transition from the low circuit to the
high speed circuit, that can be caused by the wrong spring rate.

It is an example of what happens when the pop-off is too high. An
engine (any type that uses a diaphragm carb) will start and idle,
but not transition to the high speed.

But I do not know if the diaphragm or the lever height are contributing
    to the problem.
