    (2) Riva Racing and R&D aquavein WaveRaider intake grates for just 1...

Hey so I’ve been having a hard time trying to buy an intake grate for my 1995 Yamaha WaveRaider 701 62T with stock 144mm pump...
I first found one that the seller swore it came off a 701 wave raider, so first I bought the used Riva Racing “groovy” intake grate for 140 and when I got it the bolt holes were different...
After searching a few days later I bought a brand NEW never used R&D aquavein scoop grate which on the site said it’s for the 701 and even had the wrong part number advertised- it’s NOT 112-70300 for 701’s so when I got it I was disappointed it was the exact same thing- for the 1100’s.... This time another 160 wasted....
Now I removed my stock intake grate to show pics of the difference...

-IF anyone has an intake grate for the raider 701, I will take a big loss and offer to trade BOTH the New R&D and used but good Riva intake grates- which just cost me 300 to get both but I’m not bugging anyone for returns since I blame myself for taking a gamble twice but if anyone would trade these are 2 niiice ones for 1100’s...

-I just want the right one for my 701 finally...

If you have an 1100 these are for you...
I just need one for my 701...
And I’m offering a 2 for 1 trade with one of them rare and the other brand new never used!
    Thanks!

I’m about to buy this 1 Friday locally it’s the 1 you need. I need the 1 you got. But I was planning on custom fitting this 1 to my ski but I’d be willing to get it and trade you. Lmk. Either way I’m grabbing it and prob won’t put it on for few weeks so I’ll have it. The 1 you need66B79A97-440B-491A-933E-B4D3D1B8F89C.jpeg4539D06F-9CEE-4463-A0A3-12E736D371C4.jpeg has extra 2 bolt holes like the 1 im getting.

Actually Sorry,I just noticed yours is 701. Your looking for same thing I’m looking for. So the 1 I posted is gonna be same thing as what you bought. So strike that. But anyways do you wana sell 1?How much for the new or used. My plan was to just drill new hole because I couldn’t find 1 for a 701 either wich has only 2 holes on each side as opposed to the 155mm was Wich has 3. Curious, obviously there’s more holes on the 155 grate but the other 2 didn’t line up either?I was thinking they would and the extra holes I would just drill

Hey thanks for asking so I can save you the same trouble I had...
They look the same in pics but the 701 grates are actually longer-
So no matter what anyone tries the 701 and 1100 grates are not interchangeable not just because of bolt locations and pump size but they are actually different lengths also! There’s a good one here in the parts for sale section but I’d have to go look to see it again let me see.....

Yes you saved me on this. Plus looking at the shovel the factory is so much bigger it glows into the pump much further. It’s actually a good grate wish I could weld a piece to it and there’s your scoop. I already cut my 2 bars out. I really didn’t see any help in the chop.I seen the post your referring to the, your not buying that 1?I messaged him to see if your taking it. I mean you could actually use the 1100 but you would be drilling and doing a lot of sealing to make up for the empty spaces then hope it’s actually pushing more water not less. For the price of the correct 1 I don’t think it’s worth it after seeing your pics.
