97 xp breather pipes
Im hoping someone can share a pic of the engine compartment of a 97 xp. I bought the ski in pieces and need to know how the 4 breather pipes run and how they are secured.

My best advice is to block them off and ditch them, they let in way too much water
Y'all know me, still the same O.G. but I been low-key hated on by most these &^$$@s with no cheese, no deals and no G's, no wheels and no keys, no boats, no snowmobiles, and no skis, mad at me cause I can finally afford to provide my family with groceries

Re: 97 xp breather pipes
I would have uploaded a picture if I were near my skis, my apologies if my initial response came across as condescending.
If memory serves me correctly, the two rear vent tubes drop down from the hull and criss-cross over the driveshaft, forming an "X" in front of the fuel tank. They are secured with zip-ties to the semi-circlular rear engine mount.
Look on the top of your rear engine mount for two plastic squares which are riveted in place. Each square has 4 slots to slide a zip-tie through.
Hopefully that helps explain things.

Re: 97 xp breather pipes
I just checked my 99 this evening. My pipes go straight down and zip tie to the plastic shield which covers the drive coupling.
