Starting to see what the engine will look like. Still need to paint the stator cover and exhaust manifold. I was going to paint the cylinders and cases white but am now thinking I’ll stick with the silver
Let me know what you guys think

    Re: 550/750 winter cleanup

    I. Checked with some feeler gauges and the gap is about .012. If it’s cavitating pretty bad I’ll probably pull it out and send to impros and get a new wear ring, but I’m guessing it’ll be alright even if it’s a little bigger than supposed to be... \_(ツ)_/

    Re: 550/750 winter cleanup

Went to change spark plug boots and ended up picking up a msd coil from BLrider, then ended up painting the ebox to match the engine and spending too much money on billet fittings from ada and blowsion haha. Both companies messed up my order and shipped me some of the wrong stuff so now Im waiting to get the right stuff, but heres the box as it sits now. Spare two holes will get plugged and spark plug wires will have the matching red fittings once I can squeeze the grommets into the fittings. Starter wires are cut because I need to lengthen to reach my start stop switch. Kind of going slow on this thing because of work and school but should be riding it by the end of this month!0AF3F546-9459-4432-8A48-2574D2D8D283.jpegAB46A201-82BB-4E57-8D51-99CDBCD9D489.jpeg

    Re: 550/750 winter cleanup

Been a while since I’ve been on here been pretty caught up with school and work and other projects. Found out my cases were cracked and kinda lost some motivation. Pulled my other engine apart to steal the cases so I can finish this thing. I got the rear exhaust done and drilled a hole for my second cooling line. I have all the parts together now just need to put it together

Getting closer. Got my pump and most of the ski together today. Still need to do fuel lines and waiting on my carbon ride plate from a buddy. Then sponson install and I’m done. Yeehaw 1C88B8FD-D591-49CC-AC7C-CF8F70E1FF08.jpeg96CFA748-F9E1-415B-B79C-073C679F36C8.jpeg

Finished this a couple weeks ago and put sponsons on a couple days ago. Man this thing is fun. Unlimited power on a 550 and it carves like an 8008CB6F2BC-DD32-4EF3-890F-852AB98FD1C1.jpeg95BC7B0A-4007-4AC4-AAEE-03452DBD4C76.jpeg95BC7B0A-4007-4AC4-AAEE-03452DBD4C76.jpeg
