    Superjet hulls comparisons

Hi. I have a 2000 rn with pro watercraft front sponsons. Would this handle much different than a 2008 and newer. Iím looking at a 2009 rn and wonder if itís worth the upgrade. Also is it common to put front sponsons on the newer super jets? Thanks

Night and day different, the 09 handles much better and turns much sharper. Totally worth the upgrade.

The 08 turns better because it has front sponsons built in. Your 00 with sponsons will handle ruffly the same. The only other difference is the setback pump. I hate sponsons on superjets and am not a big fan of the newer hull so upgrade is not a word I'd apply.

The set back pump is part of the sharper turning. It also hooks up way better in rough water. I think the Chines on the bottom are a little deeper too, which keeps it tracking straight and keeps it from sliding out as easy in turns.
