Sure does take a lot of time. But I lucked out and am only working three 12 hour shifts a week now so plenty of build time.

Damn, now I have to polish my exhaust elbow. Looks sick.

Thanks I picked it up in the classifieds cheap too I was super stoked when it came in.

I got a few goodies on order today and did my first test fit of the motor. Showed me what accessories I had to take off and move from the motor and where I want to run my wires. Looks like I have to “massage” the tank a little for the exhaust outlet but not too bad. Going to pick up some more parts in the morning.

You can see it sneaks in from the BJP prize build.

That is so cool. It looks like they kept the exterior fuel fill but twisted the tank to the skier's right a little.

What will you do for pump? I am thinking about just putting the Yamaha 650cc in the stock '93 550sx unless that pump will not be best.

If that pump will not be best, then I will put it into my wife's old js400 and put in whatever pump you guys/RHAAS recommends...

I did a 550sx pump swap into this one over the 440 pump I had. From what I read the 550sx pump will work but some like the 750 pump swap. I may do that later but for now I want to get it put together and running. There is always more you can do but if a build takes too long without riding and seeing the differences I lose my motivation.

Finished the ski rode it. Liked it. My good buddy loved it and didn’t have a ski for a while. He’s a big boy 6’4 300lb and most 550s struggle with him on it. This one no problem. So I sold it to him and still get to play with it. Win win. I am soo used to the superjet hull it was weird riding a 550 hull again.
