Love the details of this build. But you cant run that faded AF start/stop switch on a beauty like this! Keep up the good work

Lol, oh my God! you guys catch everything!!
I had to position the trim lever correctly to modify the side of the chin pad for the lever. the (temporary) start/stop is there just to make sure the lever clears it. It would of sucked big time
to carve on that carbon chin pad and realize the lever had to be moved, due to the switch.

It will get a nice pretty new one.

    Re: Project pf 2.0

Yesterday I clear-coated the inside of the hull. I went with the clear because I like the Carbon/Kevlar look. There is also some honeycomb stuff going on in there.
It all looks cool, together. (pic later when I drop in the motor)

I also mounted the pump (permanently). Hooked up all the waterlines, steering and trim.
There is a ton of room above the pump on this ski, so it made running the waterlines super easy. Instead of dealing with little short lines. Left and right outputs cross over
above the reduction nozzle and make their way into the hull, on opposite sides.

I even hooked up the auto bilge...

Impros makes a billet stubby cone for the Solas 140mm Mag pump I have on my SXR800. Fortunately, it fits on the Solas 148mm on this ski, too.

First part of graphics came in yesterday, too. Cold weather and graphic application don't mix, but I still went for it!
A garage heater and a lot of cussing....and I got those on today!

I took a lot of explaining to the sticker guy, that I wanted backgrounds, outline of numbers, but no numbers !?! lol
So, the carbon you see on the numbers is actually the hood carbon...not a sticker.

    Re: Project pf 2.0

Ok, weekend work done. I dropped the motor in today...well, me and the wife did anyway. We're all stuck at home so I didn't want anyone to come over to help.
Turns out she's not half bad for a side mechanic. Who'd a thought?

Dropped it down on the pad, rolled it over, mounted the pre-aligned bedplate.

After setting the motor in, fine tuning alignment, and tightening everything down. I put the chamber on and had a little scare! Was it going to fit??

The pump and driveline angle is set up for the 1500 motor, which makes the 1100 motor sit about an inch and a half higher in the hull....which makes the chamber
that much higher....yikes!! It just makes it. I put some clay on top of the chamber and put the hood on to squish it...it clears by about 3/8".

The rest of this week I just need to hash out the details. MSD and the water injection, find an electric bilge that will fit (auto bilge GTG), fuel lines, final electrical.

    Re: Project pf 2.0

Haven't had much time, but made a few brackets over the last 2 days...

MSD holder. will also hold the water manifold and valves...that's what all the extra holes are for.

One of two, custom 2 point mounts, for the exhaust chamber. This one grabs the oem exhaust mount location, plus the girdle bolt for the head.

    Bilge bracket, ready to go.

And finally, the part that's hard to watch!! Drilling holes for pissers....ughhh!
It has to be done, though.
