    Modified Wave Raider 1100 Jetting?

I was hoping you guys could help me out with the jetting on my slightly modified Wave Raider 1100 engine that I'm building to put in my Waveblaster. I'm just looking for some baseline jetting that'll be a good place to start from.

Here's how my engine will be done:
    -82mm overbore (1077cc)
    -porting with yamanube's porting template
-milled head to 150 PSI (on 93 octane)
    -all new OEM crank seals
-switched over to 65U GP1200 electronics

What I have in mind is the following, but I need some guidance on it still.

    -1.5 needle/seat
    -110 or 112.5 main jet
-black 80 gram spring or dull silver 95 gram spring
    -77.5 or 90 low jet

If you guys could give me your thoughts/pointers on this, it'd be appreciated.

38s with OEM intake and F to R crossover? Then your center main will be smaller versus F & R.

    Leaving or removing choke plates?
    What flame arrestors?

Thank you for the reply. I will be using the 38's with the OEM intake.

I have a primer kit that I purchased, and thought about removing the choke plates and plugging the holes, but I'm not sure about this because I've read conflicting reports on this.

I will most likely be using the stock airbox/flame arrestors, unless switching over to PROK units would be more beneficial. I figured that the stock would be a little more restrictive, but it will be more resistant to water intrusion.

No prob. What waterbox setup do you plan to run? 144 or 155 pump?

I'm running the stock 144mm pump with a Solas Concord 15/22 big hub impeller. I'm using the left side Wave Raider 1100 stock waterbox.

    I'd start with:
    Stock mains, should be 107.5, 95, 107.5
    Stock springs
    1.5 n&s (stock would be 1.3, I believe)
    80 pilots

You may find you need to keep the low adjusters out at least 1.5 turns.

Re: Modified Wave Raider 1100 Jetting?

    Sounds good!

    I just purchased:

Prok flame arrestors along with socks/covers
    1.5 n&s assemblies
    80 pilot jets
a couple different main jets from 107.5 to 112.5
I also got a black 80 gram (38PSI) and shiny silver 65 gram (32PSI) springs.

This should give me enough parts to start with for getting in the ballpark for the jetting.
