Best ski for bush river exploration

I'm finding that after retiring from enduro dirtbike racing, I really love exploring rugged tributaries with logs, overhanging/fallen trees/ narrow creeks, etc. This weekend I took my HX along with 2 buddies on giant modern sleds, I was able to go many more places but felt like I was breaking it, the HX wants speed to be ridden, outside of wide open she's not happy. I have a Blaster, maybe this is the ultimate creek basher? Any ideas for mods to make it stronger? I will be bashing logs, sucking up mud in shallow spots. One idea was Stainless wear ring. Other ideas like this let me know for fortifying an expedition machine. Filters. hull guards, etc.

I have been thinking about this myself to ride the rapids in the shallow allegheny River of northern PA. My idea was to find a donor hull to line the bottom with a thin sheet of aluminum.

I would think the mid 90s vxr/vxr pro would do well for this there small, flat bottomed. Also light enough to pull over or off of a high spot.

Standup. You need to be able to standup so you can see obstacles beneath the surface, can easily be picked up and moved, flipped over to dig debre out of the intake grate, jump over downed trees etc. Here we are riding some flooded waterways.

My nephew & his buddies run up the Snoqualmie River from Carnation to Tokul Creek near Seattle on various standups. Looks like a great time to me.

I guess they did a river run recently. It had been flooding & the high waters had washed a ton of pumpkins into the river from the nearby fields. He said it was a blast with all the things to jump & carve up! Lol
