I have a GroupK Big bore Hammer 701 62T motor. Think my head gasket went. Compression is currently 180/195. What head gasket do I need, 701 or 760? I also have a ADA head I could use. What dome would I need to keep compression in the 190-200 range? Thanks

Re: Big Bore head gasket?
What is your bore at? Is your head a stock modified head?
760 head gaskets are thin, stainless steel ( I think in the .010 range?). 701 are thick (.040) fiber gaskets with fire ring.
What gasket is in there now? Changing the type can/will affect compression.
I have special gaskets for big bore 701 (84mm, thick OE type) in stock if you need.

Re: Big Bore head gasket?
If you want to run your ADA head, you will need either larger (760?) or special domes to match your cyl bore. CC's will depend on exhaust port height. I would reach out to Harry to ask what to use.RCJS also doing business as WATCON
