Yes, I stuck the stock 38mm carbs and just jetted them up a little. When you go up to the 44mm carbs on the 1200 65U engine, you really start to drink more fuel, and with the small 'Blaster tank, you'll have to be back at shore to refuel more often. I can say, after riding a 'Blaster with a stock 1200 engine swapped in it, my 1100 with 82.50mm pistons, ported cylinders, and milled stock head for 150 PSI (running on 93 octane pump gas), the 1100 was a little quicker and pulled harder from a stand still compared to the 1200.

I have just started my conversion, this past weekend i picked up the ski, 1993 Waveblaster 1. I have the 1996 Wave Venture 1100 im rebuilding. Is this pretty much the same engine as what you have?

Yes, pretty close. My donor couch ski was a 1995 Wave Raider 1100.

Ok cool, if you dont mind, I might message you with some questions throughout my build since this is my first. Did you have to do any glass work at all?

Please do. There's no glasswork that needed to be done whatsoever. It's actually not a terribly difficult swap to complete. The only difficult parts were measuring, measuring, and more measuring to make sure everything went together correctly an also removing the foam from the rear of the 'Blaster. Other than than it wasn't too bad.

In my case i have alot of glasswork to do lol. Did you remove the foam from the front of the ski as well? How much did erickson machine and performance charge for his work? I am also thinking of using him as i watch his videos on youtube alot.
