    2014 Yamaha superjet spark plug is melted, but runs well. Please Help! THX

    Plug looks like this, other plug looks fine. Please help me out if you have any idea what my issue is. Thank You, I appreciate the help.

    Why are you using Extended Plugs?

    Should be BR8HS or B8HS...

    because I have an upgraded head. I have tried extended and short, plug does the same thing. appreciate the help.

    Just noticed you're in Connecticut too. You riding the sound or freshwater? It is hard to see from the pictures, but is there some rusting on the plug? Could it have gotten wet? How many plugs have you noticed looking like that?

    Have you tried a set of 9s? I’d give that a shot, maybe 9.5, I think a suffix of y gives another half step. I have built some high stresses small boosted to the sky engines and never done that to a plug

    I think it is getting wet, Have gone through about 4 or 5 plugs looking like that. Do you think I should adjust the carb to make it more rich? please let me know, Thanks so much
