    last season I was running the br8es and it was running great. You have any idea what's going on with the motor?

    running in salt water, cleaned after every use.

    When were the carbs last cleaned? Running lean can cause overheating and kill a motor, so I would make it a little richer and go from there. If the carbs haven't been cleaned, I would start with that, though.

    Carbs are clean, cleaned recently. How do I make it richer, where is the screw? My apologies I should probably know this haha

    This is from my manual for a 95 waveraider 1100 with 38 carbs, not sure if they're the same or not. The ra700 is a dual carb setup which is included in that manual. Not sure where the base point should be for your mods, maybe start around 2 turns and go from there?

    You need to remove the head and possibly the cylinder and inspect the pistons.
