    550/750 pump and motor alignment

I just installed a 750 pump in my 550 hull using the RHAAS conversion kit and an x2 driveshaft. I am using an RCJS bed plate conversion mount and I can't seem to get my motor set back far enough to line up with the motor mounts. Will the RCJS bed plate not work or should it be fine and line up? Any other suggestions on what I need to do? Thanks

    Should line right up.

You may need to remove washers behind your couplers. How far off are you?

what are you using for a engine coupler? i believe with the pump conversion, the stock 650,750 coupler must be used.

Have you confirmed that your driveshaft is not binding in your impeller and is fully inserted?
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

I found my problem! I was using the tapped 550 drive coupling. I am getting a 750 coupling tonight which should make it fit

Good. Yes, you need a 550 coupler on the engine with a 550 driveline. With the 750 pump conversion you use a 750 coupler.
