kawasaki 1100 stx wet exhaust or not?

Does a 1100 STX have a wet exhaust? If so where is the water injected into the exhaust?

It is a "wet" pipe. Water is injected on the top of the expansion chamber. Look right below the headpipe and you will see a 1/4 fitting there.

Ragged edge racing, Thanks, Am I looking underneath that fitting for a injection port into the chamber? Or does that fitting only add water to the cooling jacket. I don't see any port inside the expansion chamber, of course it all covered in exhaust and oil grim.

There is a little hole there. Poke around with a paperclip.

Thanks again. the whole chamber is soaking in dawn dishwashing detergent right now but I will poke around in that fitting hole to see if I can find a little hole.

Here is the picture of it. If it is clogged, use some Lime Away or something to eat up the deposits.ZXI exhaust.JPG

Thanks ragged edge again. I found the little hole inside plugged. Just to be sure that is the only water injection port correct? There are no other ones around the expansion chamber? If so than my hose blowing problem is fixed!!! Thanks mucho
