    SXR 800 temp sensor jumper

Hey gang, I’m struggling to find a place that sells the SXR 800 temp sensor that advances the timing on 04+ 800’s. I know they come when ordering the factory pipe but for now just looking for temp sensor bypass. Do I go directly to factory pipe? Couldn’t find it in Riva or blowsion sites and many others. Thanks

You can make your own by getting a marine grade crimp with heat shrink ends. That's what I did, until I got the B Pipe and then I used the one supplied.

Cut the sensor bulb off and connect the two wires together. Its FREE.

Will doing this prevent the ski from going into limp mode if it overheats?

            No.

Unplugging the temp sensor going into the exhaust headpipe disables limp mode.
