    Too much Oil?

    no such thing... right?
    I haven't figured out how this happened yet. Pressure in the oil system ? there was probably a gallon + of oil in the bottom of the hull , previous owner seemed to be putting oil in the tank and it was being pumped .... everywhere. The best part is that the ski ran when my brother bought it.

    Kawi check valves are in the little oil line fitting on the carb. Some gunk held it open. Usually a blast of carb cleaner then compressed air gets them freed up.

    Easy fix: go premix

    Oh yes this motor is going to go into an sxr or blaster and there will be no oil injection, this was was the initial tear down of the couch.
