Blaster Riva Red pipe water hose routing

Anyone know or have a diagram on what water line goes where on a Riva Red pipe on a 701? It has 3 hose nipples. I could just put them where the stock pipe ones were, but want to make sure.......

    And..........
Does anyone know how to get a exhaust manifold broken bolt out "easily"
Its stickin out about a 1/16" - not really "grabable" by vise grips. Im thinking either a 90 deg drill with an easy-out, or should I just just pull the motor out and deal with it?..... .....damint!

Take the time and pull that bad boy out. It only takes about 20 mintues to pull it....

This will let you have full access to it. I would get an easy-out and it SHOULD come out pretty easy.

Re: Blaster Riva Red pipe water hose routing

Got my Riva Red pipe on today. I had to pull the motor, to fix a broken exhaust manifold bolt. Got that out and "heli-coiled" (or the stainless equiv - cant remember the name) I also found that 4 of the 6 existing holes for the exhaust manifold were done the same (previous owners). I also observed the first pic below.......piston scar. I put it all together, re jetted the carb, and it runs great, and definitely sounds like a screamer now - really woke it up. I have a very minor leak on the bottom of the exhaust manifold. (running it on hose in driveway - haven't taken it out yet) I'm assuming its from the crappy cyl bolt holes. I thought I had them all torqued down good........but you never know with 4 out of 6 being repaired in the past. Plus I'm really worried about that piston scar. I'm just gonna find a new cyl, and get new pistons and rings, and be prepared for detonation. Until then,......Im ridin it!
Oh yea, how the HELL do you get to those 2 middle bottom bolts on the aftermarket exhaust manifolds!!?? I had to "make" a tool out of a open end 12mm wrench! (basically a 45 deg offset wrench - should have a set anyways) but I had to grind the sides off the wrench to gain clearance. Any tricks on that? Maybe switch to allen socket head bolts and use a ball end allen wrench???

Re: Blaster Riva Red pipe water hose routing

Most people...."I've not done it yet" use a smaller bolt headed bolt. That piston looks like it's seen bettter days. I would as you said, look for a complete new cylinder. I've seen them go for 150ish to 200.00 all day long. One other note....get rid of that f/a ...it could be the reason your piston looks like it had some water to drink.

Re: Blaster Riva Red pipe water hose routing

Just wondering from the two manifold ports to the 1st bottom nipple to the back top nipple to the bottom front nipple how this pipe should be water routed and including the head ports as well. Would really appreciate it. I just can't figure out the way it goes.
