    Newb from Rochester NY

What's up? My name is Rich, and I live in Rochester NY. Just picked up a 96 Polaris SLX 780 from a buddy. The engine was rebuilt 2 years ago, and the carbs were rebuilt right before I bought the ski. Over the 8 years my buddy had it he has replaced pretty much everything on it. The ski runs perfect and only has one issue. The thumb throttle on the handle bars has a crack in it near where the set screw goes in. I'll deal with it for now and order the part over the winter. I have been wanting a PWC for a long time, I really wanted a Seadoo 3d, but I got a deal I couldn't pass up on the SLX. PWC Today seems to have a world of information that I am sure I will spend hours reading. I am very much into cars and trucks as well. I have a decently modified 2004 Mazda6 S GT, and a 99 Mazda B2500 for a daily driver. Thanks for reading.
