    Snohomish, WA Newbie

Newbie in Washington State (Snohomish County). I've only ridden on small lakes. In circles. Round and round and round again.

I'm interested in longer trips. However, this will take a bit more planning regarding gas. What do the experienced riders here use to figure out the distance on rivers or riding on Puget Sound? Is there something like "Google Maps" for waterway distance?

    Thanks in advance

I am a noob as well....I just did 80 miles on the Colorado river this past Saturday....I saw some "trip reports" via this site about guys riding from WA to Alaska via the inside passage. Def. not a solo adventure. It seems there are few new postings here and most of the PWC forums kinda suck. A handful of really helpful wrenchers but it seems many people have migrated to Facebook groups mostly cuz it is easier. I manage many, many Facebook pages for clients and I hate FB groups. When it comes to "risky behavior", I don't want my clients to indirectly see me talking bout riding the ski. Good luck around here!
