    Stress crack repair

Anyone take care of spider or stress cracks on a boat or jet-ski, I've got a Honda aquatrax and it's got quite a few cracks showing through the gel coat I've got to get fixed not sure how to go about it or if it's something I just need to let a pro do and if it's worth it on this ski? I attached a pic of just one section of these cracks, there's probably two or three sections like this mostly on one side.

I have been adressing the same problem on my R-12X, i also had the same type of cracks on my right footwell probably after some type of crash.

Grind open and fill with topcoat, sand it down fill again and sand off again then rubbing and wax. it will be a different colour but it still looks better than the cracks.

Thanks for the reply Super MAC. So you don't think it's structural or heard anything? If that's the case I'm just going to ride it!

    Re: Stress crack repair

I have some of the magic easy gel coat crack repair in the little squirt tube that's supossed to fix cracks or gouges. Why couldn't I use a needle or scribe to scrape the inside of the cracks to get them clean, use some acetone to wipe off any wax and just squirt some magic easy on several cracks at a time, scrape off excess and keep doing it til it's all fixed? They say it's a permanent repair.

Thanks SuperMAC. I didnt know you were the Macsboost guy and in my state to boot! I was getting ready to change out my air box on my 03 turbocharged Aquatrax but saw that you sell a filter that connects directly onto the turbo I'm guessing this will work on my stock F12X?
