    Hey, thanks a bunch, I’ve never seen one!!! Looks great, I originally had thought of the raised air intakes, but thought they would be really good at taking in water when doing subs, it has given me a few ideas for the second layer(air channels) once I get that far.

    No problem, I think as far as water intake goes. I think it depends on how well you channel it out on the inside layer. Not to mention this hood is made for racing, not so much rec riding and subs lol... If you want or need any more detailed pics just let me know.

    i was able to spend a some time working on getting the mold layed up and finished. I pulled the plug out this morning and was pretty happy with how it turned out, Now for a few coats of wax and i'll be able to set up for infusing and hopefully......next weekend i'll make the CF hood !!!!!

    Got to do the infusion today!!!! I think it will turn out well, I'll pull it out of the mold tomorrow!

    I was able to pull the part today, And I'm pretty happy with it, currently untrimmed it weights only 986 grams. Weight will be added when I add the air venting channels.

    Thanks, I don’t know the weight of a stock hood, I’m trying to find out.
    Hopefully this weekend I can work on the internal air ways, and the seal channel, which I hope will stiffen it up a bit

    Would you be able to measure the "tabs" that the seal fits into. how far down from the edge of the hood and the width on them? Thanks
