    Buckshot BRM 47mm Carb Questions

Recently picked up a set of these carbs.

Did a little research, and found that the screw in type needles/seats are hard to get, but after a little more checking around, I found the correct ones. Ordered them and they fit perfectly. One problem solved.

Now the issue is getting the correct setup for the fuel line restrictor.

I've looked at the in line restictors, but have also checked out using a pressure regulator set at 6 psi.

Forgot to mention that I am splitting them up and using them as singles.

This will be on a 650sx. Newmiller ported cylinder and did the head. It will have a fuel air separator with a hi volume fuel pump.

Anyone have some advice on using these carbs? Jetting and using a restictors vs pressure regulator.

No, but I have several extra ones from other skis, including the one that came with the fuel/air separator.

Re: Buckshot BRM 47mm Carb Questions

I am running a single BRM 50mm on .y PJS motor, I'll have to find a pic or two of the small manifold that I made to bolt onto the carb, complete with return line and restrictor.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
