What pipe will fit an FX1?

    Hi Guys,

just wondering about Pipe options for the FX1, will a Riva Red pipe fit inside the FX1 hull without or with modification? Will the Pro-Tech (black color) pipe fit ?

    thanks in advance!

I had a Riva wet pipe in mine, it didnt fit well and kept cracking. I ended up using a factory pipe with a 650 chamber. I had to mold the gas tank just a hair.

the mod chamber factory b pipe for a superjet fits an fx1 nicely with a sj gas tank. a riding buddy has one in his fx. the b pipe fit with the stock gas tank but rubbed the chamber some. the sj tank fits better but he had to make a relocation bracket to slide the battery tray closer to the right side of the hull
96 superjet- rockered, -4, wide tray, adjustable footholds, kv148 mag setback pump, skat 7/14 impeller, rrp adjustable pole, blowsion ovp steering, 62t/62t, ada head, zeel A02T cdi, dual 44s, boysen power reeds, TNT SS chamber

93-x2, newmiller ported SP750, milled head, R&D single 46 intake, sbn46, fpp blaster chamber pipe, hooker 9/15, umi, rhaas squirrel cage, dakine foot straps

Spit and a running start. Just make sure your aim game is on point. Sucks when you fold it over.

There have been tons of cracking issues with the heavier cast pipes. Clearance and vibration alone.
It seems that the factory fx-1 chamber is a ghost, but the rn *b pipe* can be made to fit, with a little love.

Beat the pi$$ out of the chamber, heat the tank, and grope it like a fat gurlz titties. Done deal.

I'll tell your girl you said "hi".

So the Riva Red pipe doesnt fit well and looks like its a bit heavy and keeps cracking,
    the Pro-Tech pipe is ok?
Factory Pipe with a suitable chamber is ok as long as your dont melt your gas tank and can get the annoying screws on the pipe to note seize up after 5 minutes (i have beef with these pipes).

i guess im looking for a bit of a "bolt on" like the Riva Red or Pro-tech... but they do look like heavy mofo's, might need some decent brackets made up to prevent cracking.

incorrect. There is a difference between the Riva wet pipe and thr Riva red pipe. They also made a Fx1 red pipe and a superjet red pipe, so since they made a fx1 specific red pipe i dont thing superjet one will fit.

Cast black protec and stainless protec sj pipes have been crack free, have broken a few head mounting bolts until we drilled and tapped a bigger bolt in the hole. Protec pipes last well as long as u have new bushings
