The happy 650 Jammer winner, Mr. Bill

Seriously, he's normally a doo rider, with minimal stand up experience, so this Jammer is gonna challenge and entertain him for a while at least.

And overall, JB19 was a huge success. Huge turnout, crazy high water made for awesome woods and Narrows riding conditions, we broke our record for the annual donation to the CWCAC, we eclipsed the $30k mark for total donations to the CWCAC since 2012, the Saturday night cookout dinner was awesome, we had more sponsors and more awesome prizes than ever before, and the campground made it clear that they very much want us back for 2020. Easily our best and most successful freeride out of the last 4 or 5.

Now just wait and see what fundraiser prize ski we have in store for JB20 .

The WJ in my mind was actually better than the WB1 in so many ways. First off, it's the size of an actual ski, not a sit down.

With the extra power, if you really work at it, you can rail turns. The 650 really gives it power to pull itself thru turns. I have had the thing leaned over bond rail to the water all the time. Only issue is, if you don't fully commit you'll do a 180 and be staring right at the guy following you around the buoy course. Now that is exciting! I will never own a WB1 for the flat water riding I do. But the Jammer is amazingly silly. More power just amplifies that like crazy.

Buddy of mine and I took turns on it for solid hour of lots of WOT runs, and it maybe used 2 gallons. Oh, and the extended blaster bars that I installed are excellent. They're perfect height for sitting and cruising/carving at WOT, and also perfect in the standing position - so much better than the higher pullback stock bars.

Somebody is gonna be thrilled to win this thing. It's just silly and sweet .
Very nice! Did you end up going with a 17/20 Skat LX impeller? That speed is right where mine was with that configuration, I believe I did 40.4.

Our second 650 swapped jammer was just completed last month. I had a chance to ride and GPS it. He did 39.8 with a 16/19. I believe it's under pitched, pretty sure it's on the limiter.

These skis respond very nicely to the cheater pipe arrangement, OEM Kawasaki X2/ 650sx pipe with a Yamaha FP or Coffmans manifold. I also have an extended convergent cone to lower the power band of the pipe, and some home brew porting to remove the ugly 650 cylinder sleeve underhang on the ports. Oh and a 701 CDI. With those mods my best was a hair under 48. Real basic stuff and I feel like I haven't even scratched the surface.

Re: BJP Prize Ski Build Thread - 650 Jammer - Jet Blast 2019

Michelle at Skat-Trak donated the impeller for free. She gave me 2 options, 16/19 for free (probably cuz they had a bunch on the shelf) or for $315.00, I could have them make a 17/20. The 16/19 worked very well, so I was happy with it. Then I found out a week or two later that Michelle left Skat-Trak, but I haven't heard anything to know what's up with that at this point.

This one was certainly not on the limiter. Wear ring was perfect, and the impeller didn't need any shims.

The winner of the Jammer wants to start modding it further asap.

Yea I looked back at this thread and I saw the 16/19. Although I was skeptical at first with my friend's build, the 16/19 works very well with the stock pipe. For the price difference you had that's a no brainer.

I've been meaning to re-turf my ski. I like how clean you did this one. Overall great build. I'm glad there's another crazy Jammer swap out there.
