RAVE valves - 2003 XP DI

As you prob can tell i am still going through these skis from top to bottom. One machine i am getting about 6k rpm and the other 4900-5000 and almost like a misfire.
Is it possible its the RAVE, how do i test. There is some confusion whether they are driven by vacuum or the air compressor.

possible , clean them it only takes a few minutes. Raves are driven by crankcase pulse same as you fuel system. If it doesnt go away start looking at the fuel system, even if you rebuilt it.

Its sad that Seadoo built such a huge POS that very few people truly know how to fix one.

Grumpy, your right to some degree. We still have a few good mechanics on the forum here. I have learned a great deal in short order, almost feel competent now that I have had mine appt a few times. POS is on point though . I won't buy anything other than a carb model.

I actually am a mectand read the entire manual at work! Today I realized the rave valve were stuck due to carbon on machine 1 m. Cleaned and out back together. Both machines the water flow raves are operating fine., we will see tomorrow when I drop them in the water. But it is getting cold, 30deg in morning and 50 during the day

Yep the RFI platform was 100X better than the Orbital injection.
