Single Trailer and Tote for 550

Looking for a small single trailer AND a tote for my 550. I know what you are thinking. Why do you need a tote if you have a trailer? Well, the place I go (and I will be towing behind my civic si) is not ideal to launch, so I would rather park the trailer and roll it down the shore on the tote. Not interested in paying 800 bucks for a new factory zero one, so looking for options.

    Thanks all!

depending on how easy it is to register, I've seen a lot of guys buy the small aluminum trailers from harbor freight and just bolt some L brackets on and some 2x4's. when they go on sale they're super cheap and work just fine. For the tote, maybe find a local welder who can rig up a tote from scrap, the wheels you can buy from walmart. I built one for a friend for about $200 in parts and that was buying all new material.

Can you provide a link to a web page with this? The only trailers I know from them are steel.

That is a nice trailer and the quality (from what I have read) is good as well. The size of the trailer is my concern. The 550 is 7 feet long, and so is the trailer which means the ski would hang off the back of the trailer by two feet and I would have to fab a post (no biggie) a foot from the actual cargo area on the tongue. That only give me only one foot of actual tongue before the ball connector t Hope this makes sense. Do you think with the ski that far forward that the tongue weight would be an issue.

Why not just buy a single jet ski trailer on CL? What’s your time worth to modify/re purpose the trailer.
On CL Orange County straight up ther is nice $200 one. LA CL there was a nice $350.
I have been to HB but would have no idea what CL you would search.

Good point, then I don't have to mess with it...Every time I find one on CL, I hit them up and it's gone. I guess they go quick. I also love the ones that say, title in hand,,,then they end up having no title. LOL
