shaft intermediate bearing housing assembly - missing parts?

Okay... next question on my 02 F12x....

While the motor is out - the previous owner also pulled the drive shaft out. Looking at the bearing housing assembly - the two bearings appear to be bad. No problem since they only appear to be $ 8.00 each. I do, though, notice that the water seals are not available - which makes me wonder.

Any ideas and/or suggestions? I see some used ones on ebay although it seems a shame since I really on need bearings and seals...

Also.... from my initial work on it... those bearings appear to be pressed in - correct?

    Thanks.

I would change the entire assembly since the rubber coating is prone to the aluminum corroding under it and giving you a massive hull leak.

not to ask a silly question although... am guessing I would need to buy this new... or do we think decent used ones are okay? Also... did this part change much over the years and/or will one from a later model (like an 05) fit my 02? Thanks

They are all the same but all suffer from the corrosion caused water leak. I would buy a new one due to the damage a leak does.

on that point... I see that my 02 ski needs a 43500-hw1-671. Most of the new ones I see are 681's or mostly 682's - and my 02 ski is not listed. Will the 682 fit my ski and shaft? Thanks
