99 GTX RFI Tries to start but never runs

I bought a 99 GTX RFI that prev owner said it had no spark... Was running then it just quit on him. This was last year. Has not run this year.

Put a new battery in and turned it over, tons of spark on both plugs.

Put everything back together it briefly sputtered but quit. Tried turning it over but would never run, just spun the motor.

Compression is 135 mag and 145 pto. Plugs are wet when pulled.

Drained the fuel tank, put fresh fuel in, unplugged the fuel line from injector rail and cycled the fuel pump thinking I could get some fresh fuel.

Put a vacuum tester on the fuel rail side to see if I could tell if the injectors were leaking, and held perfect vacuum.

Put it all back together with new plugs and it ran for maybe 2 seconds and quit. Turn it over again and it sounds like it wants to start but never does. Pull the plugs and they are flooded...

    Where do I look next?
    Thanks
    Kyle

    Check fuel pump pressure

Seems it's good. Pumps fuel out with a vengence when the line is disconnected from fuel rail to Injectors. Spark plugs are wet with fuel, not dry.

Doesn't matter how much fuel it shoots out. Check the pressure. I think these systems run off like 107psi!

Max is 60 psi. I don't have a tester, but my assumptions would say if the plugs are wet.... it's getting fuel. If anything, too much. Lack of evidence of fuel in the cylinder, I would agree fuel pressure would be a concern.

Could it be be weak spark? Try pulling the plug boots and clip off a bit of the wire and reinstall the boots with new zip ties.

First thing I would do is put in a new set of iridium spark plugs. NGK BR8EIX or Equivelent. Seems like the RFI eats plugs and the Iridiums last a lot longer.

Thanks, but there were new plugs installed and lots of spark on both plugs. Anything else?

Just cause the plugs are new doesn't mean they're any good.........trust me. With plugs screwed into the head, ohm from the top connecting point to the hex shaped part you screw in. If it reads anything at all the plug is shorted and grounding out any spark before it gets to the fuel mixture.
