    Re: 1985 js550 exhaust questions

Boat ramp is 10 mins away and I got a trailer. The manifold I have on the pipe is unplated aluminum. I have a friend with an ocean pro rideplate and I hate it. If you have any leads on pjs stuff that’d be appreciated. The impeller will come haha that’ll be it’s own animal to install I’m sure.
    Thanks again

If you want, I can write up how I used to powertune skis
back when I was a mechanic, or you can read my very long
blogs on performing the idle drop test and setting the high
    speed screw on SBN carbs.

Maybe someday you will find a name?

Ride plates vary by length and angle. The ride plates I mentioned are
basically extended stock ride plates that were designed not to loose
top speed, but also add stability.

The Ocean Pro ride plates are relatively short and angled downward
to force the nose down. This style of plate will cause a loss of top
    speed.

Remember, porpoising is caused by to much weight on the back of
the ski. So tell your rookies to just put their feet or lean forward.

The manifold just says LS on it. No other markings or anything. Thanks so much for the help and if you could link your blog tunings or if you could type it out that’d be appreciated. Thanks for the help it’s much appreciated and I’ll be looking for plates.
