    Watcon surf ride?

Anyone know anything about this? I know its at Pennoyer Park in Kenosha this weekend but thats about it.

Is there a bouy course set up?
    Is there a schedule?
$40.00 per person or per ski?
    Food vendors?
Is there a boat launch there? Close parking?

    Thanks, Steve C.

    Re: Watcon surf ride?

    Hello Steve.

Yes, to almost all your questions above.

The ride is Friday, Sat, and Sunday.

Friday is set up, hang out, get acquainted, etc. People do come and ride.

Saturday is Ride all day, HUGE raffle with great prizes from Jet Lift, Skat Trak, SBT, Hydroturf, Thrust, Jet Renu, PHP, BRAAP, Hot Products, Slippery, Twangled, Jet Tribe, Pro-Rider, RHAAS, RCJS, and Watcon.

There will be a Barbeque contest going on, with lots of Barbeque, bands, etc also.

Big air contest, with a trophy for the winner.

Sunday is Surf Moto Races, along with general free ride. This is going to actually be a Great Lakes Watercross tour stop. So you must register separately if you want to race as well. I believe the buoy course will be set up on Sat, and you can just play on it if you want.

Registration is $40 per rider. Scott may charge extra for an additional ski. Spectators are free. (Girlfriend, wives, buddies, kids, etc.)

No Schedule, come and go as you want. Ride whenever....

There is a boat launch, BUT it is a little ways south of the park, with a LONG slow no wake out to the lake. You can use this. There are many people with quads, beach totes, etc and are always very helpful getting people to the water. At minimum bring a beach stand if you have one.

Eric Malone will be here all weekend as well. Hanging out, doing demonstrations, etc.

People are aloud to camp at the park, but no tents. Must have a camper, race trailer etc to sleep in.

Hope to see you. It has been a while.

Feel free to call me with any questions, concerns, etc.

If you can get confirmation of that buoy course being set up on Saturday I'll be in, but I can only bring one boat, can't choose between pro or superjet.

How long is the slow no wake from the launch? less than half a mile?

Sorry, Scott of course hasn't answered me on the Buoy course. Years past he has it set up all weekend, and I am sure this year would be the same.... It will depend on what, and who he has for help.

The slow no wake is apox a 1/2 mile, and then it is a 3/4 to one mile ride back up to the beach where we are.
