    Removing jet pump driveshaft

Just bought a 1995 tigershark 640. Motor runs but needed a carb rebuild so done. Drained the jet pump because it's been sitting a while and drained about 4oz of water and 4 of the oil. Figured it's been there a few years so I'm just gonna rebuild the jet pump. Motors are simple but when it comes to the rest I'm kinda ignorant. How do I get the jet pump driveshaft out so I can get to the bearings. It says remove seal and there is a c clip behind it. Dont have any of the special tools and I dont really want to buy any if I dont have to. Have an abundance of tools I should be able to make it work. Help please!!

Well, since they are getting replaced do whatever you need to do to pull those lip seals. I used to screw a long wood screw into the flat part of it and grab it with a vicegrip. Then just yank on it till it tears and comes out. I got nothin on the rebuild part, I've only taken them apart to part out.
