    650 coupler change out

so im was trying to change out a 650 coupler to a 550 coupler. when trying to take the 650 coupler off the threads i believe stripped and now just spins on the crankshaft freely and wont spin off at all. any suggestions to how i can get this off now?? not sure a puller is the right move since it will probably mess the threads up more. thanks

May have to cut it off. Go almost all the way through then split it off.

i would just stick it on the press and press it off , a puller will work just fine , be sure to get all the threads cleaned up real good on the crank before spinning the new one on.
