99 SXI Pro bogs on low adjustment

I have tried everything except replacing the stock mikuni 40i twin carbs. Is it possible that the butterfly shafts are letting air in and causing this problem? If so does anyone know what replacement carbs are available. Im running a stock ski so I donít want to drop a lot of dough. By the way I rebuilt the carbs twice.

    Replaced motor
    New gaskets
    Reeds
    Needle and seat
    Tested pop off.

Acts like there is an air leak in the carbs. Just replaced the fuel filter on my Superjet and runs like new. Wish the pro was that easy.

Have you done a leak down test on your engine to determine it is sealed up well?

When you rebuilt carbs, did you use genuine Mikuni brand kits?

    May have internal blockage still....

What is your jetting? What needle and seat, and spring do you have? Again genuine Mikuni parts?

New motor no leaks. New needle and seat 1.5 stock. Stock brown spring pop off is 30 psi. Original jets. Genuine mikuni rebuild kits always. I feel like the only option is to replace the carbs. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can buy a new dual carb setup stock.

    Try this,

smear some marine grease around the throttle shaft exterior (both ends on each carb) to help block possible air infiltration and see if it runs any better...

Stock springs should be black, 80 gram.

Don't assume, just because an engine is newly rebuilt, that it will pas a leak down test.

I did a leak down test. I exhausted every option before I posted. Looking for ideas like the grease one that only experienced mechanics would know. All the normal test have been done.

Guess you should have made your original post more specific then, so we don't waste your time, with answers you already have....
