Steering off center 2015 VX Deluxe

I have a 2015 VXDeluxe with 160 hrs. The steering has developed an off center condition wherethe handlebars are not straight when the ski is. I rode a lot of rough waterthis year so I wouldn't have noticed it. When on calm water though it isapparent. I do my maintenanceand pay attention to excess play and it seems pretty good although there issome in the lower ball fitting. I don't see anything really loose. The steering masteris good.
Could it be a combination of wear in the nozzle pivot, cableends ect.

I did notice that the problem varies based on speed. It isnot there at 45 mph. So this could point to a propulsion problem. I have theService manual and have looked over everything. I looked at the rear whilerunning on the hose at 2000 RPM. I see water coming out of a port on the rightand a small amount of water comes out of the exhaust valve. The exhaust valveappears to be protruding. Of course the exhaust valve would be submerged duringoperation and is connected to what they call the water tank so I would expect water to come out.
I appreciate in advance any input you have.

    Thanks

Thats a exhaust outlet not a valve.

Adjust it by turning the cable ends, one or the other.

I know, the service manual calls it a valve which was confusing. I think it's a glitch with translation from Japanese. So have you seen this problem before?

I have seen a high hour rental unit (saltwater) that rusted the steering shaft & it "twisted" at the steering arm.
