    Cheap speed

Ok, so on the lake we go to, the hx is the slowest thing out there.
Tired of the kids getting smoked.
Whatís a good route to take to get into the 70 mph zone?
Top speed is all that matters .mph/$$$
    Thinking gp1200 or Honda turbo?
Really donít know what platform to start with, and I donít have 6-10 k to throw at a project...

You may be able to get into the 65mph zone, but 70 will cost substantially more & you will need a S/C ski or at least a 2011-2014 VXR. The old 2 strokes like the GP1200 or Polaris Virage1200 Kawi Ultra 150 or a SeaDoo with a 951 or the 4 stroke Kawi 15F will get you 60-64. If you can find a mid 2000's RXP will get you to 70 with minor mods.

You are looking at this wrong. The HX much like the wave blaster might be the slowest, but it is also the most fun. Being able to go 70 in a straight line gets boring real fast. Call up impros and get a new impeller for it and find a used a/m exhaust to liven her up.

    Re: Cheap speed

turbo hondas are f ing slow and are more breakdown prone than seadoo's.
I'd go ultra 150, but good luck finding one not thrashed. After that a cheap RXP.
How many gerbils could a gerbil jammer jam if a gerbil jammer could jam gerbils?
